Our practice owner, Lawrie Nolan, has a Bachelor of Optometry degree and a Post Graduate Certificate in Ocular Therapeutics from the University of Melbourne and during his training completed placements with respected ophthalmologists in South Australia and the Northern Territory.

 

Practice owner Lawrie Nolan is incredibly pleased to welcome his former optometry classmate, and housemate, Allan Clifford to the team. Allan and Lawrie are both 2004 optometry graduates of the Australian College of Optometry, at the University of Melbourne. Australia’s longest running optometry degree, run by Australia’s highest-ranking university. Allan has also completed postgraduate certificates in Ocular Therapeutics, enabling him to prescribe medication for managing and co-managing eye disease.


Lawrie & Allan identify and manage an array of eye conditions, prescribes PBS medications for eye disease, refers patients with complex eye conditions to ophthalmology specialists and co-manages patients with several ophthalmologists and GPs.
